| Clearing agents are agents who are by virtue of their license permitted to conduct clearing and forwarding activities on behalf of importers, exporters and other entities. Clearing Agents who interact with Dubai Customs are, as a prerequisite required to obtain a Clearing Agent Code before they are permitted to represent their clients or act on their behalf. |

| Must hold a valid clearing and forwarding license issued by the competent authority in U.A.E. The agent shall be permitted to clear for Importers, Exporters , Free Zone Clients and overseas clients subject to the rules and regulations prescribed by the Department from time to time. |

| Fill the APPLICATION FOR CLEARING AGENT CODE FORM and submit it electronically and follow it up with: |

| A payment of Dhs.100.00 as Clearing Agent Code Fee |
| Submission of the application form duly signed and stamped by the authorized person of the company. |
| Submission of a copy of the valid trade license |
| Presenting the original License (will be returned after verification) |
